Four. Padel is a doubles game — two against two.

No. You book the court, not four confirmed names. Grab your slot and fill in the players as you go, or let us know if you’d like a hand finding others for a game.

Padel needs at least one other player, but plenty of people turn up solo. We run social sessions, Americanos (a rotating-partner league format) and special events built specifically for meeting new players — turn up on your own and you’ll be rallying with new faces in no time.

No. Every court at AxClub is a full doubles court — padel is built around 2v2 play, and that’s a big part of what makes it so social.

Yes. AxCademy launches this September, bringing structured coaching pathways for kids and adults — from first-timer intro sessions right through to competitive play.

Yes — racket and ball hire is available on-site, so you don’t need your own kit for your first game (or your fiftieth).

Yes. We’ve got a small in-club shop, plus a digital screen giving you access to thousands more items — rackets, shoes, bags and more — for anyone who wants to kit out properly.

Court prices vary depending on when you want to play. We have off-peak and peak rates. Check them out on Playtomic.

Not right now. We want the courts to be available to all with no barriers to entry. As the club expands we may need to bring in membership levels but we’ll communicate if and when we plan to do that.

Yes we have parking literally at the front door. Just head into the Axminster site from the main road (not the side where the builders yards are) and you will see our gates.
